Click here, find the course you want to teach and click on 'add to my courses', and it's yours.
* creating your own course material
* or even

OR EVEN WHAT? It just ends, right then and there....

Not too informative or professional, if you ask me

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

Did not know that about facebook. Only this "one person, one account" rule. But don't worry, the parrot is real. Take a look over here: http://www.myngle.com/blog/...

Might just be a bit too big to sit on your shoulders :).

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

I'm sure they have plenty of teachers / students on the site as well, willing to donate a little bit of time to fix it. I agree with you on this one China_Mike. Another option would be Mechanical Turk, where you could pay someone 2 cents per word, and then end up paying out $2-$3, and you'd spend 10 minutes doing it. Little things make a big difference!

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

Cecilia,

It takes months to build a great platform and even then it will always be a work in progress (translation, it will NEVER be finished). To get everyday language down right, takes what, a couple of hours? Give us a better excuse next time PLEASE! The correct, completely transparent answer was--" we couldn't afford to pay someone to proof read our copy and we were on the look out for someone to do it for free."

Communicating well with your audience is a mind-set, not a single act done when you can squeeze in some spare time. I love Myngle, but you guys DO NOT understand how this kind of communication is like a fingernail going across a blackboard to native English teachers.

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

I'm pretty sure the Myngle Parrot breaks all sorts of Facebook rules in
terms of not being a real person - Facebook doesn't like that. I don't know
how long for this world that parrot will be 0_0

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

Hey Captn, just saw you found your parrot, because every pirate needs one. You are now friends with the Myngle Parrot on facebook?! XD good one!

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

That's impressive, starting an English site without native English speakers! I assumed too quickly, haha. And, Pirate Puns for the win!

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

LOL

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

Hi Koichi,
you are doing magic! This issue is discussed by English teachers (natives) in the Myngle forum for months and nothing happened. You write one blog post and *BAM* tharrr she blows!

We'll see what will change. Btw, as far as I am informed there is only one native English speaker in the office, and this guy is the IT man ;).

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

Hmmm, lol!

Re: Teacher Welcome Messages: Myngle Walks the Plank

Hello Edupirate,
I am Cecilia from Myngle. You are completely right.
We are changing it immediately.
We have been so busy building a great product that we have missed this message. ;-)
Sorry for that and thank you for your feedback.
Bye
Cecilia
